LSU depth helped a lot. Losing Collins could hurt us in the second half but we do have Fountain filling in a lot of minutes.

Yeah, unlike last year, we still have 4 quality bigs with Chest, Miller, Reed, and Fountain. Hope he doesn't miss much time though

We win by 6+ points if we limit our turnover to 5 or less in the 2nd half.

LSU picked it put toward the end of the first half and finished with 36.7% from the field. Pitt started hot but cooled off to 31.3%

Big FACTS, fr fr. Worse kept secret.

Believe me or not, it doesn’t change the fact that that’s what happened. He was supposed to be a big part of the team going into last year, but something happened over the summer to cause him to lose his minutes and have to fight for his way back into the rotation.

You saw it early in OOC games last year. He had a couple DNPs and slowly started earning more minutes game by game. He was balling out in the North Florida game before he hurt his shoulder. A few weeks after the injury they decided to just medically redshirt him since he also missed games due to disciplinary issues at the start of the year.

I’m not going to say specifically how I know this to be a fact, but I heard it from someone who is close to the program.

Feel like we are going to be that scrappy as hell nightmarish team to play against this season and end up getting a tourney bid.

LSU dominated the boards and Pitt started to play some lazy D at the end of the half. Gotta keep hammering the boards and Pitt’s d will crack as fatigue sets in.

Matt McMahon is turning out to be a damn good coach imo. Hopefully they keep getting better and people praise him as much as they trashed him when he walked into a terrible situation

Sears has a ridiculous amount of turnovers. Cut those down and we win this ballgame

Gonna need Sears to step up in the 2nd half. Having a quiet day thus far.

They dont go nearly as deep into the bench as we do. Hopefully it wasn't lazy and it was getting tired. They will tire even faster the 2nd half. The game was moving pretty quick.

I think that was tiredness versus LSU's depth.

I will not be surprised with Pitt coming out hot and LSU slowly taking back the lead late.
