He's a great coach that is compassionate and not a dick like a bunch of coaches in today's game! I hope he retires a TIGER!

He’s flat out lying about what happened. We all saw there was more to it than he is telling. And the first base coach wasn’t ejected immediately after the ump fell. Just a bunch of horseshite from this dude.

Um, yeah… I think those two losses DID define your team as runners-up, which is a great accomplishment. Funny that he indirectly admitted that “as an assistant coach your aren’t allowed to say a word but as head coach he did deserve respect” and then he found out who had more authority then him. He had a point to prove and somebody made their point…

The vaunted defensive baseball was … little league ! Never saw repeated episodes of 3 guys running to catch a ball and falling over each other !!

CC has a lot to be proud of. Great season, huge winning streak…
But once they got on the big stage, they were utterly classless.
From the first press conf with players being asked what they respected about LSU the unanimous response was “not much”..NONE of them could utter a respectful word.
This comes from the top.
When Stony Brook whipped us at home, we gave them their propers, including fans giving an ovation.
That kind of sportsmanship is well beyond CC’ s capabilities.
But once they got on the big stage, they were utterly classless.

Totally agree . His conduct HAD to affect the team . He isn’t much on the mental game … His pitcher messing with the watch … putting his arm around the ref ( are they buds ? ) . Totally weird . No mental focus . Like their coach .
