Joe burrow threw for 159 with 1 TD and 1 pick in the 2019 spring game. This is absolutely no indication of the season to come.

Just checked. Bryce Young is 13-for-20 with 218 yards and one TD in the first half

Maybe reading to much, but lots of handoffs when Brennan is in. Maybe trying to practice it?

Another Brennan keeper that would’ve been a walk in TD haha
If he had Johnson’s running, it would be over

Considering they play Johnson’s keep a lot, probably wouldn’t be open.

Right. This game will do little to decide who starts next year. Competition will be in fall.

Defense looks dominant. Solid tackling and hits. Great zone coverage.
Offense will come into form in the summer. Seeing good defensive fundamentals being developed was paramount for spring.

Where did I say "This" has anything to do with it?

Hines has been looking like his shoulder is hurting. Been weird for a bit now.

Miles Brennan > Cam Newton

We aren’t showing anything new from last season. They’ve done a ton under center this spring, this is as vanilla as vanilla gets. Don’t read too much into anything

This. The D getting back to doing the basics at a high level and the O Line looking better are both wins for the spring.

Thought we had installed new goal line packages. Hoping to at least see that today. Our necessity to do dive out of shotgun on every short yardage, killed us last yr. We ran it on every hurry up, and took them 5-6 games to move to qb sneak, to get .5 yards. Like the idea of extra oline at te, and fb, light up some boys with our deep olike group we now have.

People were saying the CEH wasn't even an SEC back in 2019 Spring Game.
