Quote from G TECH FAN
As a Tech fan myself- That guy is an idiot. You guys are far more talented then we are and always play great in Atlanta.

I expect you guys will give us all we want and if we turn the ball over twice- you will win the game. If we don't- it should come down to the end of the game.

I hope you all come to Atlanta and have a great time. In 2000 that was the best atmosphere I had ever seen at a ball game at Dome.

Why don't you ask your fellow "fan" how many conference titles, national titles & BCS bowl wins Tech has in the past few years????

How many ranked teams has Tech even played much less won in the past few years???

What kind of pathetic individual makes this statement?

Let's review a few facts:

Perfect pass for aa sure touchdown was dropped. Sideline pass, also perfect, was dropped for a drive killer. First INT was off bobble by reciever.

In OT, Scott gets 6 on 1st down. Run it 2 more times and 80% of 1st down, or 95% chance of field goal.

So, all that is on JLee?

I was in school when Tommy Hodson was a freshman. He was never asked to do anything complicated as a Freshman. He was protected. He was handled appropriately for that age. He became one of the LSU greats.

Some of what Lee has been overly criticized for, has to fall on the staff, and much has to fall on the receivers.

No way to know this since it didnt happen. We played Bama tight 4 quarters. No way to say if LSU wins or loses with JJ playing.

LSU is not better than Alabama. LSU is more talented than Alabama. Alabama has a better defensive scheme, Alabama's senior QB is better than LSU's freshman QBs and Alabama's players aren't spoiled children like a lot of LSU players. Alabama players bring it every day. LSU players play when they want to but aren't as talented as they think and thus can't get away with it.

An attitude shift, a new DC and an experienced starter in 2009 will make a world of difference. This bowl game is REALLY important. Important to see what Tiger team comes out of the gate.

Great post. My thoughts exactly. The attitude of this team seems to be "me me me"...I am impressed by Bama's no-nonsense style. I believe the attitude shift for LSU needs to start with the coaches. I hope that the new Defensive Coordinator is a dicipline guy. Keeping my fingers crossed.

You realize we're probably the worst defense in the SEC right?

This feels a lot like the decision process that led to co-coordinators last year.
Yeah, it's nothing like the decision process that led to Gary Crowton coming to LSU. Good thing we didn't wait around until after the bowl game to make that change . . .

Where do people get this? When did Charles Scott, Jordan Jefferson, Jarret Lee, Rahim Alem, Derry Beckwith, Richard Murphy, Brandon LaFell, Richard Dickson, Patrick Peterson, Jai Eugene, Kevin Sheppard, Herman Johnson, Steven Ridley, Keiland Williams, Charles Alexander, Colt David, Terrence Tolliver, Jared Mitchell, Trindon Holliday, Daniel Graff, Ryan Baker, Pep Livingston and all the rest behave like "spoiled children" or exhibit a "me me me" attitude?

All I saw was a team plagued by poor coaching on one side of the ball and inexperience at QB on the other.

Everyone fails to realize that JJ had very limited practice with an extremely limited play book. HIs job for most of the season was to watch the mistakes. JL has a great arm, but he plays QB like my 9 year old plays madden. He throws to the area the receiver is suppose to be even though he can't see if the receiver is open without zooming out. Also his neck must be locked in place because he cant look in more than one direction. JJ neck moves left to right. If any of you have ever played in the secondary, you know it's alot harder to play pass defense with a qb that can scramble, throw, and play the game in a zoomed out overhead fasion....JJ will get better, and the receivers will learn to catch a harder thrown ball...geaux purple and gold!

"Why are we playing against a Tiger team that LIMPED to the finish line. We're 9-3 and were a stone's throw away from playing in and possibly winning the ACC title game. Loser State University is 7-5. What a slap in the face. Why did UGA draw a New Year's Day game versus a legit 9-3 Michigan State club and we're stuck with a SUCKY matchup versus LSU New Year's Eve? THIS STINKS. WE BEAT GEORGIA! WE'RE RANKED HIGHER. We want a REAL team to play!!!"

Because your GT...Tech = little geek brother..Not national big league football like LSU.

LSU is down this year, but is very capable of running GT off the feild

How do you explain a "more experienced" Jordan Jefferson playing the entire game against a much weaker Arkansas team and yet we lost?

#47 personal foul! score was 30-17 4th down and we get the ball inside the 50 most likely instead

the D gives up a Td on that drive 95 yards!

team game

We also went conservative
