In most cases a year makes a big differece in development. Go look into it. Big Baby's numbers jumped up a good bit after his freshman season. That is how it usually works.

You could be in your 3rd year of college and still be an underclassman on the court.

In terms of recruiting success you mean being a pretty good role player.....then yea, we have some successes.

Johnny O'Bryannt - Probably a Win
Storm Warren - Fail but gets a pass b/c of no time to recruit
Chris Bass - Fail but gets a pass b/c of no time to recruit

I'd agree with most except I'd put undetermined next to Stringer, and incomplete on O'Bruant and Hamilton as there is simply and absolutely no way to know.

Also, he basically just honored the commitment that Brady made to Storm, Harris and Graham. I don't consider those his recruits.

And Courtney, I haven't seen enough of to render a judgement on down the line.

I have maintained here that Trent's decisions, and misevaluations on his (not Brady's leftovers) first four scholarship signees set the program back two years because IMHO none of the four can play and I don't see much hope that they ever will be able to. Not to solid a foundation to start on APR or not.

If you think that next year will better than this year because of incoming recruits, I believe you are wrong. The player from Pitkin is playig bb in class AA and in a rural area. He has not seen any real competition in his district that can warrant all of the excitement. He is 6'6", tall for his district but he will not be ready for sec play. We may figure out that we might not be competite next year either.

If all O'Brant brings is rebounding and a defensive presence we're already significantly better than we are now. I think he'll bring that.

I've heard good things from folks who've peronally seen Isaac play against AAAA competition. Just because you're in AA doesn't mean you don't play several games up in classification. Hell at least he can take Dotson's minutes and do better without question.

Hamilton, after the overhyping of White I expect the same from him until shown differently.

But I do expect immediate help from O'Bryand and Isaac.

Next year will be better than this year because everyone will be 1 year better. Hard concept to grasp, I know.

Storm was never a great player, a good role player, but I guess I wasn't expecting him to carry the team or anything, plus he is hurt.
