I think Blue is just as good as any RB LSU has on the roster.
you think well.

If he can pick up the WR position, get him on the field.

he's real tall for being a slender back. those aren't very common in the NFL
It's starting to grow in numbers. Tall backs use to be massive in frame but now teams are opening up to athletic guys who can tote the ball. Keep in mind Blue is 215 pounds as a 20 year old sophomore with less body fat than all of our other running backs. He may convert to a massive WR and stay at 215 or he could stay at RB and get up to 225 without looking fat at all by the time he's a senior.

Sorry, just not that impressed with blue as a RB. He looks like a prototype WR though.

The same thing was tried with Josh Reed and he ended up with the Biletnikoff.
Also tried the same thing with Devery. That also worked. Never know until you try. We have 600000 running backs, might as well give it a shot.

I think Blue is a heck of a RB. He has more speed than Ware/Hilliard and is a better pass protector than Ford. I don't recall seeing him receive out of the backfield much. All I hear and read are great reviews from the staff about Blue. He seems like the lunch pail type back you can rely on who isn't flashy but can be a starter whenever called upon without disappointment. The issue is there isn't enough carries in a game to split amongst 5 guys and maybe 6 with Hill in the mix. Blue is the only one with the versatile body to play something else other than fullback.

he couldn't be a 6 year guy anyway, in that scenario, he'd have one year off, RS, play 3)
he means 6 years after HS, if he's only gonna play 3, why RS him anyway?

add Eric Martin to the experiments that worked out.

Shep sucks, guys! It's not "now or never" for Shep, it's "never". The guy is going to start the year as our #2 because of Miles' loyalty. He'll slip to #3 by the fourth game, and he'll finish the year no higher than #4. Another Shepism I keep hearing is "He's a great kid.". Well, "great kids" don't threaten to quit over playing time, prima donnas do.
