I guess it was the "seed.ou" that confused me.

It looked like one of your usual typos. Most people would take the additional 5 milliseconds and write "...seed. O.U." if they wanted their post to be clear.

The real question about this series is how will Rice's fan base handle a Friday night 7 pm first pitch? That's 3 hours after dinner and most will have probably dozed off by the 2nd inning.

Broke his hand recently. Apparently it didn't bother him in the Regionals...but I'm sure it doesn't help.

The DH is hitting .242? Is that right?

My bad. 7 PM eastern time. I guess they'll make it to the 4th then.

From what I saw yes. He hadn't played in nearly as many games as the rest of the starters, but he has played in most of the games in the past few weeks. I had to go into box scores from games to make sure he was playing. He shares time with another guy who doesn't have much better of an average.

Rathjen DHs against lefties. Ryan Lewis (from BR) DHs against righties.

Ryan Lewis only has 10 starts... I don't see him as the everyday DH against RHP's...

All of his appearances have been from the middle of the season on. He plays football so he's only come along toward the end of the year.
