This is the part that makes some sense. I would not think O would waste a year on purpose though. If that was the plan, I do not agree with it.

As a fan base we were told that ol Slinger was the best man for the job.
Who knows. Either way, if Freeze were to want to be a coordinator for a couple of years to ease back into football, this would be a great destination considering how much we pay coordinators. Stay tuned...

Former USC assistant coach Tod McNair sued the NCAA and won. The court ruled that the show cause that the NCAA placed on his potential employment at a school was illegal. Freeze was assessed one upon his resignation from Ole Miss. If that stance is taken nationwide by the courts, Freeze is now employable immediately.
