Bingo.
1)Ryan Clark is 100% correct, if Urban has at the end of this year figured the NFL game is not for him. Then he is someone that LSU should look at.
2) And Woodward would be not doing his job if O is fired a the end of the year and Urban is available. You make that call. As Charles Hanagriff said about Mal Moore at Bama, go down to Miami and if he doesn't throw you off his property, you keep after Saban until he says No I am not interested.
Woody should do the same thing for Urban if O has to be replaced.

You could have said the same thing about Saban when he left the Dolphins. Saban had never stayed anywhere longer than 5 years. Maybe Urban Meyer can turn into our Saban at Alabama and uncharacteristically stay here 15 years. Saban was 56 when he became the coach at Alabama. Meyer is 57.

I hire people all the time if it matters to you, but, by all means continue to pray. Urban is emotionally unstable. He had a less than clean program at UF and, of course, at tOSU. I think LSU can do better with someone who is upright.

What the frick is wrong with you people. Who cares how old he is. He clearly wants to get back into coaching, otherwise he wouldn’t take the Jacksonville job. He’s the best coach outside of Saban.
Dude would turn our program around within a season. Who cares if he quits in a few seasons? We could use a coach that we don’t have to pay 20 million just to not coach.
