I care little about this whole debate regarding Clark's contract, but touting an Emmy right after ESPN got busted for a decades-long scheme to award on-air talent isn't a good argument.
Sports Emmys aren't taken that seriously anyway. An NBC Sports executive once admitted network bosses simply instruct employees to vote for their guy, and vote the closest competition last on their ballots. Probably safe to assume that Disney has a lot of people casting ballots.
