Wow. Someone sees this clearly. We are undoubtedly their biggest game of the year despite our coaching woes (and I include Les Miles in woes). And any way to put us down is best for them.

Somehow all of these people think that nobody could be so savy as to help coaching searches to hurt us. It is very easy. Sorry you're not as savy...

They flipped due to our turmoil... why the hell would they just decide to flip back? What is it that would bring them back?

They loved LSU, they left LSU. Who brings them back?

He's trouble waiting to happen.

I agree. He'd stabbed O in the back first chance he got like Fullmer did to Majors.

Why in the hell would they flip to flip back? Who is bringing them back? Not our OC, (who we don't have).

And losing LBs.?? not cause of Aranda, but because nobody trusts us to get this program together. If you don't see their reasons for bailing you are blind.

And they are bailing, you can say they are coming back all you want but who are you?

getting to know the new OC and HC. Most teams suffer when there is a coaching change. If he keeps a top 5 class its a win.

who exactly are you talking about?

I agree with this. But a couple of years at a rival school coaching against Saban would not have hurt his stock either.

It would not have proved that he could be the one in control and the one to set the agenda for the program. No major P5 program would have taken a risk on him as OC of LSU. Make no mistake, he has been the head man at UT and USC --- he wants a gig like that and needed FAU to make it happen.

Actually makes sense. However, I would not put anything past Saban. He's thinking 5-10 steps ahead of everyone else. I spoke to a position coach at a P5 school who said that Saban's time with Belichick and the pros gives him an advantage that few D1 coaches can have. You wanna beat Saban?

Step 1: Go and find a successful pro coordinator or a guy from out west...forget all this B.S. of trying to get a another D1 coach like Jimbo Fisher or even Tom Herman to move to your school. He trained Fisher and he's played Herman.

Step 2: Have these kids take the Wunderlich test before you sign them. Saban does something much akin to this.

Step 3: For skill positions find kids that are more quick than they are fast. Speed kills but Saban looks for the quick....he focuses in on recruit's ankle, knee and hip flexibility.

Stop bitching about him and use his process against him.

OMG at the people on here that are obsessed with Saban and Bama. Lets worry about the Tigers first instead of looking under our bed for CNS or red elephants

Saban started the building process here. He knows what LSU can become. If we lock down the state, that means he loses some of his best players. Plus he knows that LSU could have beaten Bama a few times if we didn't make coaching mistakes or handicap our offense. He also knows that Coach O is dependent on having great coordinators. Saban was rejoicing when he heard that we hired O. He is always a few steps ahead. He knew what Kiffin could do for LSU. He was going to do everything in his power to get Kiffin out of the SEC.
