I hope he has the endurance to compete against SEC OL. He certainly seems to have the strength, and his techniques will continued to be refined. We are obviously hearing a lot of good things about him, and he looked pretty good in the spring game.

With said I think it will be interesting to also see what Marcel Brooks brings to the team as a FR this season. It has been kinda quiet about him. Guy is an ATH, who hopefully can contribute right away on ST and maybe even on DEF. Will be interesting to see how D.A. plans to use him, and develop him.

IMO this is the first season in recent years where we have quite a few FR who seem to have the potential skill sets to step in and make plays (on both sides of the ball).

Opening game can't get here fast enough.

Point me to all the senior high school guys that are 6'1 195, and have a laser timed 4.30 40 with 40 inch vertical? Those are absurd numbers for somebody who wasn't even technically a senior in high school when they were recorded. I don't like to say once in a generation like athlete, but there are maybe 5-10 guys over the course of 5 years that are that athletic coming out of high school. As far as playing the position, he's definitely a once in a decade type of guy when you look at everything.

t was incredible to me how much he dominated the spring game.
true, but was he lining up over Cushenberry or Cole Smith? It is one thing to look good vs Cole Smith and quite another vs Cushenberry.

At LSU, he's the most elite specimen since Peterson and I think will be better. He's a generational talent for our program.

Nationally? Sure there are a couple freaks every year. But I think Stingley will be an All-Pro in the NFL barring injury. That's how much confidence I have in this kid. And there aren't All-Pro's growing on trees. He'd be drafted pretty highly straight out of high school.

Ika did get some snaps VS the #1 Oline. Couldn't give you an accurate number though.

Kia had me when he got pissed off in all-star game and broke through line to block an extra point. It’s not allowed in those games but he didn’t GAF. Love seeing DL guys that get pissed off.
