O fans would rather have Alleva just get it over with today and extend O another 3 years.
Make his buyout 20 Million!!

our starting 22 is probably as good as anyone in the country, if our best players can stay on the field, theres literally no one they cant beat.
the instant we get past that however, the wheels fall off pretty quick.
we're very very close to already being past that.

I don't know about this excuses shite but I do know with this tough of a schedule alternating bodies and keeping this team fresh is crucial. If we learned anything from last year , got to have fresh legs. Tyler could have started most years, we need these type's of players to alternate without apparent drop off in talent.

It's college football. This happens to every team every year. It will be ok

Since the start of camp, LSU has "lost" 3 potential starters

Fulton wasn’t an expected starter.
I didn’t see the word expected anywhere in the title, I saw potential. Fulton was not expected only because of the suspension, the potential of an positive result from the appeal is makes him a potential started since he was a likely starter in that case.
Ingram was an expected starter. The only other guy I can think of is Taylor. From what I’ve read, Taylor was only a potential starter if you consider the fact that being on the team makes you a potential starter. So 3 is probably a high number, 2 is a fair number for potential starters. 1 is the number of expected starters.

Illustrative of many posters here, surrender before the first shot is fired.

Fulton is continuing his suspension and Taylor is a 3rd string backer.
Don’t start making excuses.

Wrong
1 starter... Ingram.
Keep painting the narrative though.

They’ve lost 1 or 2 starters, and Ingram could be coming back. Taylor could too if there isn’t any evidence against him. There going to try and waiver Fulton so he can play.

This is how I would break it down:
- Ingram, absolutely a starter lost...at least for now
- Taylor, was a backup to Phillips
- Pettigrew, was a backup to Moreau
- Fulton, while he was technically already suspended this year, they really thought he was coming back after the NCAA re-opened the case, and he definitely would have been a starter
So 1 definite starter, and 1 arguable starter because of the situation. Pettigrew and Taylor in no way you can argue as starters unless you really want to get into semantics that sometimes we'd "start" 2 TEs and Pettigrew was #2.

I agree. You think by any chance Taylor or Ingram will be reinstated?

It sucks but a good coach overcomes it. Bama had 5 LBers that plyed it started out last year and won the title.

Right. Fulton was going to be considered a bonus to the roster if the appeal went the way we wanted. You have to have something before you can lose it.

LSU will see more athletes in pressure situations correct?

Pettigrew was a starter in the two TE grouping. Big loss. Hurts on goal line and short yardage.

And they suffered from losses to and were second in the West.
We need to deal with our losses too, but don't pretend they don't matter because even the best teams suffer.
