He should be removed of play calling duties a game ago.

Keep Sloan for Underwood coach...Then hire a proven, top of the line OC.

Or, you give him one more year, Nuss comes back, and Sloan develops him in his second year just like he did Jayden. I don’t believe Nuss’ ceiling is anywhere near Jayden’s simply based on athletic ability. But, if Nuss can learn how to read defenses better, he comes back making better decisions on where to throw, better checks at the line, and maybe a key tuck-and-run here and there. Kelly has been alluding to it for weeks, but has never thrown anyone specifically under the bus, but Nuss’s recognition at the line and immediately after the snap is lacking. Classic first-year starter mistakes.

Anyone who hires that guy to call plays is a fricking retard.
No one here is qualified enough to even begin to make that assessment.
Lincoln Riley is regarded as perhaps the best offensive playcaller in the country and his offense has been marginally better than ours.

Nothing will change unless we shore up the O line.
Sloan can’t use the left half of the field to run the ball. It is impossible.
Sloan is way down on the list of Offense issues.
How about Kelly revamp the O next year to better fit Nuss’ strengths?
Anyone that thinks a new OC will come in and magically fix things is delusional. This is the same playbook since Kelly has been here.

Underwood is GONE
Eh. Money talks and Underwood may be able to start next year because our QB is garbage. Nuss might be gone.
Michigan isn’t just handing him 10 million upfront. I’d bet that they backloaded it. They’re not stupid.

Kelly has to be gone as well
LOLOLOL your credibility is gone. You think Woodward is going to talk boosters into another buyout? Who do we get then? Another shithead? BK has proven he can at least field a decent team. As long as he gets 8 / 9 wins his job is safe until at least the end of 2027. Even then, he’s probably not going anywhere.
Woody swung for the fences and got a guy with a high floor who has a huge record of success. Woody knew that a championship is so unlikely for even the best coaches, he’d prefer to get a guy who wouldn’t let the wheels fall off the program.

Sloan’s reputation is built on as a qb developer not as an OC

And if that happened and we lost a generational talent at QB, they would be bitching about it next year or the year after.
Burrow was here because of Ensminger....you know how many people were calling for Ensminger's head when Bama was raiding north LA for recruits? Literally everyone.
I like Hanni and I think he keeps a good perspective on things, Richard is too emotional invested as a former player and goes off the deep end sometimes.

His QB development was what made him what he is. His stock was all time high after JD. Now that’s old news as he’s got Nussmeier.
Underwood's playbook is 10x better than Nuss's simply because he is a threat to run. This is all we need to be thinking about.

Definitely but then we lose Underwood. It’s his recruit.

Hmmm, guess I was CORRECT AFTER ALL. Wish fans had a realistic picture of their favorite team. NO way the number 1 qb in HS is going to go to the biggest dumpster fire in college fb. This is Orgeron all over again only more expensive. And it’s only going to get worse. Snap your seatbelts-it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
