I don’t see how this podcast has any success.

Will Hellmers isn’t bringing in an audience.

The vague subject matter of Louisiana sports and culture is not going to pull people in.

Not hating on Jordy but the whole thing feels forced and unnecessary.

Who is this Helmers fella?

I remember when ole Rooster Barberie and Mark C (Jordy’s uncle) did a live call-in tv show that didn’t do awful. This right here? I dunno. They need to find something that separates them.

Hellmers was a 3B on the LSU baseball team 21'-24', Bob. Get with the program

Hellmers pitched his arse off against UNC in the win or go home game. He probably got pulled a bit early for Gage Jump (maybe someone else came in between and turned it over to Jump) and LSU ended up losing to UNC.

Ha, good one. He was a good pitcher who went 9-2 over his career at LSU. Freshman all-American I think

But for some reason CPM decided to start him at 3B one opening weekend where he went 0-6 at the plate and committed 4 fielding errors in less than two games

Slow down now lol…

He’s a great athlete and player no doubt…

But D1 for a 5’8” dude in any sport other then baseball (which he doesn’t play) is a stretch…

Case in point: Cooper Nelson at Sterlington- averaging like 30 for
The last few years, best player on the court. Got juco and d3 offers

Tate McCurey- started since day 1 at Catholic High, best player on state championship team- went juco

Truly one of the most bizarre Fukin moves a coach has ever made…Fukin Sauce.

Not at all buddy…. My son played with him AAU last year

This isn’t just about his son, about anyone in general… so if anyone thinking it’s personal, it’s not.

D1 ‘s are recruiting 22 yo D2 all
Americans, not high school kids unless they are too 150ish in the nation. Thats just the landscape now… it’s
Tough for high school recruits

yea I get it, there aren’t a ton of 5’8” skill players in college

He’s a high school freshman. Which would put him decent percentile I’d imagine. The concern doesn’t really fit the context here

Jordy must of not been at many of the LsU FB games this past year! It was just as bad as the MBB… obviously more people but the same amount of lackluster effort, crappy coaching and no Mojo in the building!

I was just saying based on genetics lol…

But wish the best for the kid for sure. I always root a little harder for kids that mine knows/played with

Have you ever met Jordy? I believe he is around 5’8”

Kid is a player (as was Jordy) but I don’t think he’s going to get much taller

Brian Kelly and Matt McMahon killed the passion Jordy had for LSU. Glad to see him back!
