Yep. Have heard there might be a mass exodus this year but there are always rumors. Maybe they will get down to a reasonable amount of players that they can spend time specifically developing. And, maybe they can work on jiving better as a team with smaller numbers because there just seems to be something missing there. We will see. Summer should be interesting.

Was there really any rumors of any exodus last year besides the one rumor of Pleasants flirting with the portal?
I expect movement this year (not sure who) because the roster is too large and I can't see that being a good things for anyone developing. We don't even use half of the players anyways.

Pleasants always chatted about and this year is no different. However, she just seems a little different this year which makes me pay a little more attention to the rumors. Hopefully Coach Tarr doesn't try to steal her away this summer because that would be devastating.

I am in the party of I will believe it when I see it (actual announcements) but its not out of the ordinary for players to consider hitting the portal and for coaches to convince them to stay. Happens all the time but you just don't hear about it.
I hope none of our starters leave though. If a bench player who doesn't ever play leaves, than it is what it is and thats not a problem really.
The Pleasants rumor came about last year because of a group chat message and talk by other players who used to play with her in travel ball.

I actually hope that several of the girls that are not starters hit the portal. There are entirely too many players on that roster and a lot of good players on that bench. The coaches clearly have their favorites and most of them need more time and development. No need for them to waste any more of their eligibility on the LSU bench when they could likely play elsewhere. Win-win for everybody.

I agree that there are WAY too many players on the team that never or hardly ever will play in the future. These players take vital reps away from players that do play or will play in the future during practices. Also, the more players on the team, the more chances of drama within the team.

I'm sure some will transfer. If you've been on the team a couple years and you're not getting regular pt yet you probably won't ever. That leads to normal attrition. Ya'll do these apocalyptic mass exodus rumors every year though.

Maybe we get sent to Austin. We had a lead on them in one of the games and blew it. Maybe we get a chance for a do over

I agree with you. I think there should be attrition. It appears to me this program is falling apart and some will not hang around.
By the way, if Pleasants is smart she needs to see what top tier program needs a SS. A team higher ranked than LSU would be a good choice if they are willing to overlook her fielding errors

If Pleasants leaves, I'll be royally ticked off. She can be a cornerstone for this team for the next two years.

100% but not exactly sure Texas will host. Definitely think another team or two is more deserving but the committee makes random decisions every year it seems.
I do continue to see multiple projections of LSU going to either Washington or Arizona St.

Is UL-L going to host? LSU could get sent to Lafayette as a 2 if so. Sell outs for sure if they match up.

No. Resume is unimpressive this year. The body of work isnt there, they are 1-5 against ranked opponents.
