Yet you didn't say which one, you should have quit before you started.

What a baby.

Greace,

How can being top 5-10 in defense be in the top 99% of the defenses there are only 126 teams at that level.

Doesn't change the fact that the Defense wasnt the weak point of last season. They were in the top 95% better?

LSU was not even in the top 20 in total defense last year #25, but its a subjective measurement. They were good, not great.

Total Defense is a terrible way to rank defenses.

And George Castanza thought no one was a bigger idiot than himself.

Chaisson was awesome and better than what I expected after missing a year.

He looks more explosive than last year. If not for a delay of game he would’ve also had a sack

Maybe, maybe not. I thought they were good, not great... for reference LSU was #2 in 2011 behind Alabama at #1. And that sounds about right.

Also #2 in S&P Ranking which is vastly more correct.

No offense, but I had to stop reading right here, because:

That's not an observation. It's an opinion stated as fact. Thanks anyway, Nostradamus.

I’ve always said that without injury Brennan will never be the starter, usually to multiple downvotes. Just how I feel.

I agree. Or at least, Brennan shouldn’t ever be the starter barring injury. But QB recruiting isn’t easy.

Brennan is never going to be a good #1,

Huh? He was playing with our backups who were dropping passes and not finishing routes. I thought he looked good and has a great arm.

D looks solid to good, but that was such a limited test because of the run focus of the other team... hard to tell

They held them to freaking less than 100...wtf do you want?

I think the second string of DLs will eventually be better than the first string as a group...

Based on what?

Ummm...now I know you’re trolling

Next year Brennan will throw for more yards than Burrow.

Disagree. Brennan will look much better playing with the ones and when the play calling is not designed for “calling the dogs off”.

Chaisson didn't look bad,

I kept my eye on Chaisson during the game. He looked fantastic. GSU specifically ran plays away from him and plays that forced him to cover the RB out of the backfield. There is a lot more to the OLB position than edge rushing. Plus the opportunity to rush against GSU was limited. They just don’t pass the ball that much.

Divinity is serveable to me and better than the other two, but to me he is average... maybe he will be back next week.

Interesting analysis on Divinity because he didn’t play.

Well, someone has to be average because LSU didn't have the best defense last year... so who was average or below average? It has to be someone?

Who is below average??? GeauxFightingTigers1
