Lacy is a very good running back, but wasn’t some great running back when Kiffin brought him in. They saw the potential and despite not a ton of pt as a freshman, he got better with PT.
Kiffin is a very good coach and hopefully will build off them. Similarly, the running back they got out of Utah first the mold of what they got in Lacy out of the portal last year.
Add in that LSU already has Berry and they will be fine. OL is a much bigger deal for this portal class than RB now.

There will be a lot of hurt feelings and dissension at Ole Miss when numbers come out. Probably overpaid for Curne just to get him, my guess north of 600k.

Initially, I was pleased to think that the top OM players would follow Lane and staff to LSU. But, the same coaching skills that identified, and then coached up those players, will be leading LSU. So, my confidence is not wavering, but must be patient.
When Lane and Co. produce the same or better results, the claims by the haters will fall flat. It will not be because of poached talent.
