LSU went from a top 5 ranking my freshman year ('87) to being mired firmly in Curleyville in '91.

yeah, you don't know how good you have it right now.

that said, I hope we've seen the last goalpost come down at LSU. that should be reserved for schools who occasionally overachieve.

I am truly blessed. In Tiger Stadium for every home game in '58 '03 and '07. In the Dome in '03 and 'O7. In the Sugar Bowl on Jan 1 1959. In Atlanta, for all the SEC Championships. At many away games, during those runs. Both of my daughters, LSU cheerleaders from '92- '98. But these are truly the Golden Years of LSU sports.
And I can't fail to mention the runs in basketball, baseball and track.

LSU class of '68
Forever LSU

LSU from 1991-1995.

2 losses to KY
1 to southern miss
1 to colorado state.

Alabama and FL owned us.
Hell, KY owned us in the 90's. Times are good.

yeah, i think it could only be better if your started in 03' and were a 5th year senior this past year...National championships your freshman and senior year.

My son did just that. I told him he has to become a freshman again! I do have another on starting this year!

If a no. 14 Tigers beat the no. 1 Bulldogs / no. 1 Gators, could storming the field happen again?
If we are #14 by the time we play either of them, then there will be too much disappointment in the season already for the fanbase to pull a field-storming.

And there would be virtually no chance of LSU fans pulling off a field-storming in the Swamp after beating Florida, regardless of the rankings.

Honestly...the Florida win was the most fun I've ever had at a football game........went through so much shite in the years proceeding...and then beat the number 1 team at home..........was amazing. You are spoiled, and hopefully you appreciate that. I sat through lots of shitty years....including several losses to Ole Miss.....

I was there from 98 to 04 so I witnessed the turn around of the program. The first 3 or 4 yrs were really tough...lol.

But yeah it was really funny to see all the drunk fans rush the field. The only thing there is to do when you get out there is tear shite up...the field, and the goal posts other than that it's funny to see drunk fans run out there and then they're like uuuuhhhhh???? what am I doing out here?
