Paul almost seems morally opposed to having a 3rd starter. Joking but damn give Labas the opportunity

I expect Labas will start next weekend. Though I wouldn't have minded seeing him throw a few innings this start.

TV I assume, it's on SEC network.

Ok Thanks. I did not consider the Television angle. Usually Sunday games are at 1 pm or 2 pm. Did not think an LSU/Tennessee matchup would be marquee television.

Unless he gets rocked, expect 50-60 pitches. Especially if we get a lead.
Why would you expect this? Fontenot has had 15 appearances and only has pitched 19 innings in those 15 appearances. The most pitches he has thrown in a game was 31 against ULL in 2 IP. This weekend we have yet to use Bush, Beck, Kodros, Labas, or Vietmeier. Mainieri is going to get these guys work this weekend. If he was going to start someone with the intent of throwing 50-60 pitches, he wouldn't have thrown Peterson on Friday or would have chosen to start Bush today. I just don't see very many circumstances where Fontenot throws 60 pitches outside him being untouchable and throwing 10-12 pitch innings. There's no reason to stretch a guy to double what he's thrown all season with so many fresh arms in the bullpen.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Bush, Beck, and Labas today.

AJ would be available as he threw about 63 pitches on Tuesday against Tech. I like starting Fontenot and hope he goes at least 5 innings today.

Fontenot will be going 3 innings max. That's already been determined.

funny how i got downvoted first for saying today will be johnny wholestaff (it is) and then again for saying Fontenot will not throw at least 50-60 pitches (he didn't)
