We turned to shite when Denbrock left. Kelly was bad at coaching hires, and we repeatedly were in the position of needing to hire coaches after the season. Of Davis was elite as a recruiter and bad as a coach and that was valued, he should have been supplemented with better analyst help. The only failure in the room I see is BK.

How soon we forget how most if not all of this board was happy when Woody was hired. Of course anything was an upgrade over the previous A. D. .

Yes very little known fact. Brad Davis was the interim in 2021 and got tight with Woodward before BK was hired. Was Woodward’s mole the entire BK tenure. Would not let Kelly fire him.

Imo it was clear before a&m the money guys wanted BK gone.. they were looking for a reason. I'm thinking Woody knew this was a forgone conclusion so he stonewalled BK. Basically says nah this is your ship and you're going down with it. He wasn't self aware enough he was n the equation also.. or if he did know he wanted to disattach from BK as much as he could.
