Are you drunk! Cook was stuck down the depth chart behind Cam and Javonte! No way he was going to get decent minutes as a freshman. Eric Gaines was also on that team and at the time was giving us more valuable minutes than Cook. Nothing more, nothing less than that.

And coach gay at puke, prick Pitino, calipari, and all the other big time coaches that win, and have coached considerably longer than Wade, are as pure as the falling snow. GREAT POINT.

Cook is a net positive on offense, but a net negative on defense. His size limits successful switching on some ball screens. He does get beat some off the dribble more than he should, IMO. He also falls asleep off ball. (An example of this happened in the Lamar game when his man cut baseline for a layup while Cook was ball watching).
Don't get me wrong. He is a net positive for the current LSU team, but he is not the answer for a huge rise in the SEC order this year, IMO.

Ah, don't worry. "Wade's Minions" will continue to hold support group meetings to commiserate with each other. As a show of solidarity, each member of the club must pay his yearly dues from his wife's checking account. They elect a club president each year, who is awarded a jacket with the club's Crest-a Purple Pear.

That poster is talking out his arse. Gaines is a pesky on-ball defender and disruptive generating steals. He was fun to watch defensively. Nerve-wracking as hell watching him play offense though.
