Two different days. The 60-yard runs were in a padded practice, not the scrimmage. The stats Orgeron gave out were from the scrimmage.

Closing preseason practices entirely to the media was always going to be a bad look on LSU no matter how much people in this fanbase are supportive of that move, especially when this is the only team in college football doing this.
The fan base is the only one's that matter and the majority of the us fully support the move.

Were you in a coma in November of 2015?
CEO closing practice pisses off the media because their job is to write about or talk about LSU football every day. That is their problem, not LSU's. The only the media can do is try to put pressure on LSU by saying bad things about practice being closed. CEOs job is to win football games. The media is going to pile on if he doesn't win enough, and if he does win enough he will get the recognition that comes with being a winner in the SEC whether the media likes it or not.

In Both instances, along with the Florida debacle last season, LSU hasn't looked good from a PR standpoint.

Bashing Coach O for limited media access and saying he doesn't trust what LSU puts out to the public. Screw him and his gay Cuban sidekick.
"You don't get the shhhooowwww!"
Tard: We are not a racial show, we are a pop culture show.
(Tard talks about racial issues every day)
Caller: Why do you talk about racial issues every day?
Tard: You do not get the show.

Doesn't Stugotz mean "dumbass" in Italian?

You could always not listen to the show

Hate that horrible show. I never will listen, as soon as I hear either of their annoying voices I turn the channel. Mike and Mike at least wasn't hate worthy.

Never mind. Apparently Stugots means "this dick" in italian

Why does media feel so entitled?

I agree with you. They honestly believe they're entitled to what's going on with a team during practice. Regardless of what anyone thinks, they're not.
Agreed. Personally, I love it when the media gets their jimmies rustled. See: Trump; CNN.

Didn't the media create all the BS in 2015 ?

LSU has had PR issues over the last 2 years or so, and this is the latest in a list of bad PR moves.
So you believe Finebaum will give more positive press to LSU if practice is open to the media.
Nope! Its going to be Saban, Smart, and McElwain all the time, or until we beat them.

There is history with O and the Miami media. It isn't good and it was due to his behavior during his time here. They will need to be convinced that he has turned over a new leaf and learned from his many mistakes. So do I.

Those two are the most clueless big time sports analysts in the entire country, particularly when it comes to college sports. Disregard his comments
