This is funny, coming out of HS he was projected to be a lottery pick...
FWIW, he was one of the top players at every tourney he attended.

this.
I've seen both Tasmin and Darnell Lazure this year in the NBADL. Both are in that tweener kind of category. Not big enough for a 4 and not quick enough for a 3. Both are doing well for their teams but I doubt they will go up unless they improve their game. Most of the NBADL is comprised of this kind of player- just a hair short of something to make it.
As for $$, my understanding is that they make around 50 to 90 K. If they are on loan from an NBA team to get some playing time, they get the NBA salary that they signed for.

He just didn't grow. Tasmin has worked his arse off and consistently gotten better. I hope he gets a 10-day contract or two to at least get a taste of the NBA. I think he'll eventually go to Europe and have a very good career.

6'6-6'7...barely taller than Mitchell but is strictly a 3 while Tasmin is more of a hybrid 3/4.
Also, not sure I would use his name for success in the NBA.

I still like alot of what Trent brings in terms of leadership, integrity, character in discipline.
Before you quote something like this you should look up the players, LSU has had in the NBA in the last ten years under Brady, it is pretty impressive. LSU is like 12th overall in the NBA for players, I do not know how you cannot give some credit to Brady for this, obviously he was doing something right and no matter how you spin he was the coach here and all those players I think it is like 15 played for him, and if Jaime Lloredo would have not been a basket case he would have been #16. TJ in his third year has not recruited a european player much less and NBAer. You have to give the guy some credit. Facts are facts.

Chuck Hayes...actually listed as 6'6" and doesn't have much of a midrange game, and he is making significant contributions to the Rockets

I am 6'4" and Taz is definitely 3 inches taller than me.

the only reason I bring Dupree up is he is taking the Randy Livingston Route- Randy made a decent living on 10 day contracts and some longer- he was willing to play whenever and whereever- its a niche but it pays well, you understand your role and you get to play ball for a living in the NBA

I find that hard to believe since he was measured at 6'5 without shoes at the NBA combine.
I always thought Taz was one of the most skilled guys to come through LSU in awhile. Hopefully he can develop a little more of a perimeter game and get a shot in the NBA. I would say he is definitely one of our best former tigers.

It is more like LA had a good number of NBA players. Pierre was the main recruiter.

Everything I have read says they make roughly 20k. They get paid more for a single ten day contract than they do for playing a full season in the NBADL.

Then you're definitely not 6'4 because Taz was officially measured at the combine at 6'5 and change.
