Coach O earned the bitching he has received by the results his team and coaches put forth while playing the weakest LSU SOS in the last 20 yrs or so.
When the results improve, the bitching will diminish. It’s kinda sports at the beginner level and shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone.

De freak. All the posters are saying is just enjoy that MAYBE O found a piece he needs. Being negative and saying the coach sucks no matter what benefits nothing. A good analogy is all the hate by some for the president- no matter if good things are happening or not. That’s a narrow minded look. Just try to be open minded. Not even positive but just neutral man. Let the season get underway before saying he sucks. He sucked last season. It’s done. Can’t go back. We can go forward, however. Thanks

The UAB L came during a time LSU football was having a losing season 70% of the time for a decade. The Troy L came during a time that LSU football hadn’t had a losing season in 15 yrs. and had played in 3 NCGs. We all should be able to see the vast program differences at the time of those L’s.

I agree, this turns up the pressure. If the offense falters, he won’t be able to blame the QB or a young OL. Him using the same approach to searching for an OC that his boss used to find him is already under intense scrutiny, when we come out running the Wing T like was in vogue last time E was an OC, it won’t be because we didn’t have a QB that couldn’t run anything else.
