Why are there so many more threads talking about "haters" than there are actual threads "hating"? Such a bizarre phenomenon. O will prove his worth this year, one way or the other. Stop being a little bitch because many people aren't convinced and want to see results.

Because it's a marketing campaign basically.

So you're telling me that if O fails and is fired, you wouldn't celebrate the firing of a problem for the LSU program?

This isn't about O, this is about LSU.

You may be right.
But if it is a marketing campaign, it speaks eloquently to the lack of support and lack of confidence of its proponents. Why would anyone feel like this was necessary or helpful?

You ruined your OP right at the beginning, you make an absurd blanket statement. I stopped reading immediately, and had to bust your balls about it.

You know this is not true, so why do this? What’s the point? I might forgive you if you admit that your only goal was to piss people off. It worked, so good for you.

I’ve hired many employees and will say that you don’t hire an executive by making a decision pouting because the one you wanted turned you down.
It’s a business you dumb frick. If you believe that there wasn’t a coach out there better than this bum a hundred times over, you just are either dumb or a kid.

That unemployed POS was sitting his fat arse in Mandeville when Les saved his arse. So don’t give me that fricking shite “oh well” it’s all we can do.
GTFO.

I thought that where he was from and the way he speaks is the reason people DO like him. I really wish we had some sort of governing body on this stuff. It can get confusing.

I didn't want Les fired until we had a competent AD to hire his replacement.

Has anyone actually said that they hate him? I haven’t seen that. I, for one, do not. I do not know the man. I do maintain that he was a horrible choice for head coach. Horrible. But then look at the people running LSU athletics. Nuff said.

The critics are simply projecting forward based on his body of work, and you're not. That's fine, but don't act like we're being unreasonable. If he had nothing but promising past results everyone would be excited. Be mad at Orgeron for not being better in the past, not at us for simply pointing it out.
Here is one more option. Let the negas, the antis, the critics just shut up. If CEO is as bad a coach as you are projecting, it will be evident soon enough. And for all the whining and foaming at the mouth the critics are doing right now, if he and LSU go down in flames, no “I told you so” poster is going to look an ounce smarter for having been a critic.

If, OTOH, CEO and LSU win big, how dumb are the critics gonna sound?

Just sayin...

Expectations are based on history.

O needs to prove he is a good coach.

Just not having an opinion isn’t smart.

Even if the O haters are wrong the hate is justified.

If they keep hating after he’s proven himself that’s dumb.

I just hated the, he's one of us mantra. As if that even matters and some how made him a better candidate over others.

One thing I do know. People hated Miles because of where he came from and the way he talked, like that has any bearing on how good a coach is.

And Everytime one of you starts these threads with your rants about how mean people are to O. It brings out the criticism even more.

Dude is making bank. He needs to just focus on winning, not have people monitor Tigerdroppings. It's pathetic.

Why? To whom.? The kind of coach he is and will be at LSU will be evident soon enough. Being quiet does not mean no opinion. I had mixed feelings about Saban when he was hired by LSU. I would have looked pretty dumb if I’d gone all critic on him from the outset. Nobody saw or expected 2003 to happen. It did.
