We don't even know where this thing is going to hit!
It won't even enter the Gulf until after the game Saturday night. They still won't know where it's going to hit on Saturday!
What if they cancel the game and this thing fricking hits on Tuesday around Houston?

The interesting thing will be if this game is cancelled and then the Troy game is postponed, we may not start until North Texas, if there is no other storm that threatens the gulf before that one.

so you overreact and move this game then next week when the storm actually hits you potentially have to move yet another game. this is stupid

Does not really make sense, if it starts at 6 PM why not just make it a noon game? Game over by 3-4 and contraflow does not start for a few more hours. App St. is probably in the air tomorrow if they have not left already, just does not make sense.

The game will be postponed. Their delaying the announcement to make sure they clear it with Appy St. and North Texas. We'll play Appy on the date for UNT and play UNT during our bye week. Its 2005 all over again

Well for right now from my sources sitting in on NG top level meetings they're saying that with what it looks like right now, they will be evacuating starting Friday night.
So stupid. How many hurricanes have we had? Only ONE was Katrina and this one is not even in the gulf yet. Had NG guys going with us to the game that are now called up and screwed.
I've got an extra ticket for sale now I guess.

This is a really good point. I know my point of view isn't popular but why the hell can't they just move it to an 11AM kickoff? Seems easy enough.

Has anyone bothered to notice that the 11 PM EST Hurricane center track moved the landfall again to the west?
Sounds like we're jumping the gun. This could all be much ado about nothing by the morning...or it could turn back the other way. But right now the storm is projected closer to Lake Charles.
