There it is, quit. You have scouting tape to play for. Go out there and ball out. To have pride and reputation to play for. So, is he going to be a Michael Thomas?

Why are the saints pissed with him? He had an injury.

I don't think as many players are "quitting" as you're implying. But I do agree that the new coach will have to change the culture of the program. He needs to kill the recruiting pitch of come in, get yours, get drafted.

They'll also need to have the ability to get the best out of and develop their players, from the 2* to the 5*. The highest probability path to success if having talented young stars surrounded by polished upperclassmen.

Had O not quit on the team, the would not have quit on him... It's simple, if the CEO of the company sucks and is not a good role model, the employees will not give a crap. Get a good CEO and see how things change.

so go out and put up sub par tape because you have an injury or actually get it fixed.

its a bit hard for a corner to ball out if one foot is injured or they have a shoulder issue that hurts like frick to use that arm.

this happens all the time, when a team is in contention you will see players do everything they can to avoid surgery and sometimes they have to. When a team is out of it, they are more likely to try and get their guys to go the surgery route and fix and issue so they come back 100 percent.

Sounds like Ed tried to get our guys to gut it out despite being hurt even though we have no shot at shite

Who quit?

Guys that got fat and sloppy quit training hard.
Guys who elected to smoke weed knowing one more failed test and they were goners quit on their teammates.
Guys who half assed it during games quit.
Guys that didn’t make their grades quit studying of going to class, etc.
You don’t have to hold a press conference to quit.

Jamaar Chase
Tyler Shelvin
Sting
Gilbert
Ika
T-Marshall
Marcell Brookes
Vincent

some for reasons better than others, I'm not worried about Rick's but this is a trend that needs to be removed from the culture of the fb program. the source is O.

So why the shoulder surgery in the middle of the season? Could have had it last year, the summer, after the season. He also flirted with transferring to OSU after last year. Dude, come on. I got some ocean front property in Arizona for you.

Or maybe he tried to play through it, it was painful, and now that the season is a complete bust he wants to get it dealt with so he can be ready for all the practices and such leading up to his money making year.

You wouldn’t stay at a job that was going bankrupt because the CEO doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing, why should these players play for a program that’s sinking fast because the Head Coach is a clueless moron?

Pride
Team

And I’m not defending O, no doubt he’s aided and abetted a lot of this. I don’t think the players respect him anymore and it’s hurting.

They moved on from a bad situation.

Another way to say quit.

You can try to define it how you want or what makes you feel better. When you aren’t playing by choice, it’s quitting. However, if quit is to harsh of word for you, then you are as soft as the quitter. Understandably, you would not understand.

In order to weed them out you have to look at what’s doing the quitting and don’t recruit them type players. The team would be a little slower but with better men..

I do not buy this soft player theory. Those kids were still playing hard. There is NOTHING soft about playing football at a P5 level.

Football is a game like chess, there are action/reaction. This coaching staff do not put their players in the best position to make plays.
