Taking bad angles were obvious in the TCU game. Come down to experience, it will get better as the younger guys play together and trust each other to do their assignments.

The line is still working out the kinks from most of them switching positions. The pass blocking has been good.

The bad angles concern me also. I'm not sure there is an easy fix. Taking the correct angle is an instinctive thing. Coaching may help some but with as much football as these young men have played in their lives, you should not have to be teaching them something that should be instinctive.

just wait til Eugene is starting, man is a fearless bastard
there has been a lot of bad angles taken but that should get better over the next two weeks before uga

That's a good observation. This kid doesn't take bad angles and would be for him replacing Martin if Martins dismal play continues. Loston won't get replaced.

not sold on the OL? OL still means "Offensive Line" correct? maybe you dropped a "B" and meant OLB? our O-line is playing absurdly well.

Punting. Seriously, this could be a big problem this year.

Kwon does not have a weakness in tackling. Takes good angles and tackles good.

Tackling, or lack thereof, is exactly why we will see more and more of Kwon, Micah, Tre White, Corey Thompson, etc, etc....

quote:I agree with you here. DJ Welter is just too small to be at middle LB'er. I don't know what Chavis is thinkin here. I could see if Welter ran all ovver the place makin tackles like Minter, but he's nowhere near that.
Put a DE in the middle or something
are there more LB'er prospects on the roster?? I don't keep up wit all that.

Are you the guy that posted about OBJ being severely inferior last week?

At the risk of repeating myself, the pass WILL set up the run this year. Count on it.

It's looking like Lamar Louis might be the next MLB to get a crack at it.

But this one weakness could be devastating and could be enough to cost us more than one game. It may be just one element but its a very important one.

This is the most troubling question I have...
and yes, I follow LSU because I live in the State and am a fan of prep football.
