Yeah, Johnson made a bad coaching decision. He did...anyone can deny it but it is the truth. The CORRECT call would be to let Acken start the 9th and if he allows any baserunner you bring in Jump at that point. To bring in even the best pitcher who is a starter and not a reliever when the other pitcher is doing well is tempting fate. And LSU paid for that bad decision. Make excuses all you want...it was the wrong move, pure and simple! And I said this BEFORE the 9th inning to my brother who said the same thing.
