I guess I was thinking more in terms of La. but you're right. When Saban first got the job at Bama a lot of people were mentioning his recruiting of La as their main reason for being upset. Kind of makes you wonder if this had at least a little play in why Les hired Frank Wilson.

Wow, another Bama thread on the Rant 
But LSU has won more than Bama since then and it's LSU fans always saying that anything that happened before Y2K doesn't count.
Bama certainly has it's share of a-hole fans but LSU runs a close second in this category.
You are more paranoid than the Auburn fans.
I agree, it's kind of lame and disrespectful but no more so than LSU students chanting "suck that Tiger dick, bitch"

How did Bama "luck" into the title game last year? We moved up as the teams above us lost. Kind of like LSU did in 2007 when they won a NC with TWO losses.

Of course you can, I'm just amused at all the Bama hate. The majority of rational Bama fans, not the idiots on Finebaum, respect LSU. I know several, myself included, who actually pull for the Tigers when they aren't playing us.
Bama isn't the only school that claims titles from before the poll era. Michigan for one, claims 11 titles and I think they only have 2 in the poll era. All but the 1941 title for Bama, which I agree is somewhat dubious, is as legit as anyone else claiming a title for said year. All of ours from the pre poll era came in years where Bama was undefeated and won the Rose Bowl which was the only bowl of any stature at that time. The 1978 title that was split with USC was because although the Trojans won head to head in September, they later lost while Bama kept winning and eventually worked their way back to into the top 5 and culminated the season by defeating #1 Penn State in the Sugar Bowl.

I had zero issues with bama (the program) before moving here.
Now I loathe the state, the program, and most of all the fans..
I honestly heard at least 3 people say that "Saban was screwing with LSU before the game winning drive" this year.. And they believe it..
I would move to the gaza strip in an instant if I could.

I absolutely despise Alabama and their cocky obnoxious fans as much as the next person. I never pull for them "to keep the streak alive" or for some other stupid reason like that. However, there seem to be some people here are just as happy with an Alabama loss as they are with an LSU win. They have this stupid inferiority complex and are jealous of Saban even though we have a coach that is almost as (if not as) good as him. I find it ridiculous that some LSU fans follow Bama as much as they follow LSU.
I guess my point is, if you hate them, just IGNORE them.
