Really?? Like LSU game didn't tighten up today? Whiney arse bitches are going to superfluously bitch about any and all things. These games are a good sounding board for CJJ to determine what new guys can do if he plays them.

It's the first event of season at a minor league park. Lot's of part time staff turn over I'm sure. They always allow reentry with a stamp. We go to games there often and sometimes get there early for promotional giveaways then return for first pitch. Pregame across street at "That Bar" or down block at Intuition Ale (sadly closing permanently soon).
Sat and Sun will be better atmosphere. Same thing last year when I went to the Fri game.

Place was packed two hours before the game with Tiger fans young and old. I met some really nice people at the stadium today. We really do have the best college baseball fans in the nation. I can see why Omaha loves when we go there. Good people young and old and we like to drink and love to watch our tigers.

Good point. To counter, why not let people go out to their car/tailgate to relax in a seat with a cushion and do what they like for an hour, then return to watch the other game (and buy more concessions)? If the person that uses a ticket for the first game wants to leave after their game and give to someone else, then you have a filled seat where there would otherwise be an empty one. Am I missing something?

Not sure how it's setup, but can you just buy a dirt cheap ticket on the street to get you back in the park and then walk back over to your original seat? Shouldn't have to do that, but if it's cheap enough, 8 hours of your time with better access to food might be worth it. Just guessing. I'm assuming nobody is scanning it internally after you swipe at the gate.

What you're missing is reentry is almost certain!y permitted. One poster said they got a hand stamp. That has always been the procedure at this park. OP probably just encountered a new/part time employee that didnt know. You may just have to go to another gate and/or find a supervisor. This has happened to me mid season if one gate is too busy to issue stamps for instance.

agreed. as far as getting the team prepared, i like these tournaments for the same reasons. but that's also why i prefer something like the shriner's at minute maid playing baylor, texas tech, etc. with the games on tv. these d1 tournaments feel like a step down in intensity as far as environment and opponents. add to that the $30 for a kinda shitty broadcast.

I went to a different gate later and that was the case. Today everyone was on the same page. Just seemed crazy at the time.
