Naw it's true I's heard it. Trent said we'd win 4 games this year.

dude that is no where near coach speak.

growing pains/bumps in the road...mean we won't be perfect...we will have a rough game along the way..but def. not coach speak for we suck.

Need to patient...yeah..we may not blow teams out and may take a little bit to gel...but def. not speak for we suck.

fwiw...all coaches say that about young teams..because it's true.

LSU went to the Final 4 with only one Senior on the team. Sure Tyrus Thomas and Glen Davis were on the team as a Freshman and Sophomore, but experience doesn't always matter. This team has kind of figured something out already. I think they're a tournament team. It's still really early, but I don't see why 10-6 in a pretty weak SEC would be out of the question.

I agree.

but esp. before the season the coach to say about a young team will be a few bumps and may need to be patient with them while they find an identity is not code talk for "we suck"

No, this doesn't mean LSU is going to "suck". He's just trying to limit expectations considering he won the SEC title in year one. Barring a miracle, this team won't be good as the 08-09 team and that's to be expected.

Trent did say there is "no margin for error" with this team. Said last year's team had "little room for error"

Either way, Trent Johnson is a phenominal coach and will have this team prepared as well as they can be.

I'll be there as well. Had planned to be in NY tomorrow long before I heard the tigers were playing (found that out this afternoon, I'm in Boston right now). Should be a good game. I'm excited.

I expected a little more scoring than 12 a game from Taz. Spencer and Tropical Storm have been the go to guys so far. We need a good 16-20 points from Taz tommorow.

Only have 1 big time rebounder and regularly lose the rebound game.

The reason why LSU will be in the game all the way til the end.

LSU has looked like a very good basketball team to this point, so much so that people have already started eating their crow.

I personally wouldn't go that far msutiger, though I will say they look better than I expected, mostly because Storm Warren is so remarkably improved I can hardly believe it.

But I was at that Indiana State game, and that was butt ugly, so while I was relieved to see we played much better the next night, we can also lay turds like we did the night before.

I expect to compete but not win agains UCONN, and by compete I think that would be to still be within reasonable distance from the Huskies at least midway through the second half.
