He's clearly improving so I think he'll get playing time regardless of wr depth.

Well both our starters from this past year are returning. We still have the 5 star true frosh to be sophomore on the roster that he battled for playing time with. Charknado showed some skills in our last game. We are also bringing in 6'3" 6'4" 6'5" wide receivers.

If he plays it will be because it was earned. If he transfers, he transfers.

TQ didn't drop any passes this year. Didn't get very many thrown his way, but didn't have any drops.

You say high school doesn't necessarily translate to college level performance. But you go on to state that Incoming Freshmen that have not played one down in college are better than him. Misplaced logic I think.

I want him to hit the field!! I think he is a good receiver I like the kid since high school. But seeing him drop the balks he dropped as a freshmen it looked like the coaches has had much trust in him

Whenever he was in he made great blocks, and he was always open!! Just never got the ball to him.

well this is a more truthful comment

he's not really tall or a bigger WR so he's at a major disadvantage in the LSU offense. those freshmen WRs are huge and they fit

He is way down the depth chart as far as I'm concerned.

no one gives a shite about your concern.

he's a talented receiver, and the negative talk about him on here is astounding. if LSU actually had a competent passing offense his numbers would be solid. I applaud his decision to stick it out and work hard at LSU. I really thought he'd go to SMU this off-season, where Morris would help him put up big numbers.

Not before Malachi, Travin, and Tyron. Maybe add Chark to that list if the bowl game was any indication.

This statement I can understand and agree with for the most part. However, I have to applaud his commitment to the team and desire to get better. Our Tigers need guys like TQ on this team.

I kinda got the first part of this, but then it went into some weird Pootie Tang type gibberish. but I'll try to reply...

as a freshman, he only had a couple drops (vs Bama) that I remember. one that I'm not sure I wanna call a drop cuz the throw was shitty, the other, a pretty bad one. granted, they were against Bama, but let's not act like we've had WRs that haven't ever dropped anything before, and still managed to be productive (sometimes in the same game).

anyway, at this point I just want a good, efficient passing game that can move the ball when the run game is bottled up. don't really care who the personnel we use to achieve this are, I just want to see it happen.

I thought he just got too timid after he got the shite knocked out of him at Auburn. before the Auburn game he showed as much promise as any of our receivers

Yes he will see the field. He's probably one of our best blocking WRs and we all know how much or WRs block

It seemed like he and Diarse kinda had about the same amount of PT so I do think his PT goes up, you have to think after this year we will use more multiple WR sets because 1. QB progressing in his ability to run offense. 2. Miles and Cameron being pushed to open up the O. I really wish he would have gone to Clemson, I don't think we will ever use him to his fullest here

Yep

LSU likes to throw outside the numbers and they like fades in the red zone. Not a short WRs dream offense.

Quinn has been a good team player and solid blocker no doubt and was not targeted for many passes.

How important will spring practices be to see if he will stay or transfer?

He should play the part of early doucet in our 2006 offense

I really would like to see just a little more 4-wide sets. Dural, Dupre, Quin, and Johnson...that's a lot for a defense to handle, plus you still have Fournette on the field.
