False, but if Nuss gets benched and Berry gets an appropriate amount of touches… maybe?

Those games are lost either way. Whit wouldn’t had made difference like how people are trying to spin it. He would of been in man coverage like all the other LBs.

False. Having Weeks would make little to no difference for the defense. The scheme is a failure.

You will see this the next time LSU plays an offense in the top 50.

Whit weeks is not making a massive difference with our struggles to stop the running qb. We have massive schematic issues stopping qb’s that can move whit weeks alone is not fixing that

False.

It’s a scheme issue on defense not a players issue.

Pavia still does his thing and A&M still beats the snot out of LSU. So unless whit weeks completely changes the defensive scheme nothing changes.

Teams are in man much of the time and running QBs indeed have an advantage there because the defense has their backs turned. Having said that, Vandy had at least 6 guys in the backfield after the play started with the OL retreating. LSU only rushed 4 which gives LSU 2 more guys defending past the LOS. Numbers count! Also, Whit Weeks as I've said more than a dozen times has great football instincts. I will hazard to guess that he would NOT have been fooled to leave the center of the field WIDE OPEN regardless of how the skilled players ran their patterns. Once again, PASS OFF a receiver to someone else. You have 2 extra guys to do that with. As far as Perkins goes, my brother and I both consider LSU's defense to be playing with 10 on defense when he is in there. Perkins has the WORST football instincts I've ever seen. Most of the plays he gets suckered so badly that they don't even need to block him

Extremely false. I don't think Weeks not being in the games had anything to do with players not being able to tackle or being in the right places.

Some of you are out of your mind. Whit Weeks would have made plenty of difference if 100% healthy. Enough to beat Vandy. As for A&M, I have no clue WTF happened in the second half. We were up at halftime and then it was like the whole team totally quit.

Agree with your scheme comment...disagree with your difference in the defense comment. 2 reasons: 1) Whit Weeks has BY FAR the best instincts of any LSU football player. I have said many time he reminds me of Ron Sancho who seemed to have known where the play was going at the snap. 2) WW can actually TACKLE! Pyburn and Perkins for example MISS more tackles than they execute. The two difference makers on defense IMO are clearly Delane and Whit Weeks. Haulcy is good also but Delane and Whit are in a class by themselves for LSU.

We still lose to Vandy with Whit.

We probably beat Vandy.

A&M didn’t even try to score in the 4th. They ran HB dives every possession to milk the clock. They coulda hung 65 on us if they attempted to score.
