Let me state one more thing here.
Luke is no fan of Urban. His best friend NFL star Mike Vrabel came to Cols to help Luke. I think Mike knows a little bit about defenses. He blew up one day on Urban when he blamed Joe for some D problems. Rumor is Mike was let go because of that incident.
This altercation was all over OSU boards. I still believe if you google urban meyer mike vrabel there is a post about it on the 247 sports blue board. LINK
My source says it happened.
Luke had aspirations to be head DC at OSU. He was kept around because he was a great recruiter in state. But he soon figured out that he was being strung along just like Joe and his dad figured it out.
Now what happens when you put two spurned DCs in the same room together who are friends. Sometimes decisions happen that are not rational.
Let's hope the family comes to their senses and realizes the opportunity Joe has at LSU.

i dont think so..
not speaking about the OP directly.. but i'm pretty sure he has a couple bros that played @ NU..and one of those bros lives in TX(and made the drive to BR)
if i were a former cornhusker but my little brother is a current ohio state QB...i'd be a buckeye fan (but a joe burrow fan #1)
i see less a troll job and more highly biased fam stirring up the fandom here

That means for that to change, someone has to do the same or come pretty close.
Joe and his dad both need convincing. You don't realize how much Joes dad has been involved in Joes career.
This is simple, no other school so far has done that, LSU is trying and has a better shot than anyone. It has gone good so far but cross your fingers because it is not only Joes decision but
a family (dad) decision.
There are many of us who believe Urban never gave Joe his shot. We want him to go to a D1 school like LSU and show what he has.
Since this is a free board I hoped those here would appreciate what a former player knows.
We all hope Joe commits to LSU. Good luck. If you convince Joe and his dad and get him, you are getting a great QB who would be a perfect fit.
Not an uncommon scenario. As far as our staff, it's 'recruit the parents' SOP with a twist.
In short, we have to convince both Joe and Dad that this is both the best 'business decision' and appeal to a little bit of revenge/'I'll show you' ego side of things.
And guys... we got the last visit, and it was weekend long. That's an advantage. I bet at least dad loves CSE, hopefully Joe does too.

Plus, this is about sales. No one can question that Orgeron is an excellent salesman.

Now, that said, O has to overcome the incredible futility of LSU at QB that Miles established as our offensive brand over the years. That stench lingers over the program like an broccoli and egg fart.

I mean, Danny Etling came here as a backup from Purdue, won the starting job and managed to get drafted by the New England Patriots. If Burrow is looking to win a starting job, play in a big conference that gets a lot of attention and possibly move on to the NFL, Danny Etling just provided the blueprint when he transferred to LSU. The only thing he didn't do was win any kind of championship while he was here.

It is you that is delusional. While I do not think they make a choice based off of what they read here. You are outside of your damn mind if you do not think these kids read this board. They want to find out every nugget about the school and team they might attend. This site gives them a look into the fan base. If you think it has no impact you are crazy. We as fans could do the school and team a favor by toning it down big time because it surely doesn't help. I guarantee every potential recruit or potential transfer has visited this site. This is 2018 these kids spend more time interacting online than they do face to face. It is just the world we live in today. We don't need to give the other schools any ammunition when it comes to negative recruiting. But we continually do. The other schools don't even need to point out our flaws, we do it for them. All they have to do it show this site to recruits.

I like the idea, but something tells me there would still be fans willing to pay just to be negative and a-holes.
