Will the Box/Tiger Fans intimidate this team.?
Not sure but I know the Humidity will get their attention.

To deny that simply means you either havent gone to many games there or simply havent been paying attention.
Well I played all the way through college so you are incorrect about the games I both attended and played in. When you play baseball you are playing so many away games that it truly doesn't affect you that much after awhile, just another road trip. If the fans are "dick's - ours aren't" then you can hate playing there but it doesn't intimidate you so much as irritate you. The players "and I am willing to bet on this" more apt to be in awe of the facilities and the field at LSU than intimidated by it. You can take that for what it is worth but just ask a player once in a while, I can promise you they will say the same thing. Is it possible they could be intimidated? Sure anything is possible, just not probable!!!!

I didnt ask how it affected you. Everyone in attendance knows what I speak of despite your so-called experiences.
Which major college did you play for, again? Curious to see how similar to LSU's atmosphere you had there.

Awesome ballpark. Went there last year for an Orem Owlz game. Angels rookie affiliate. Salt Lake Bees (AAA) and the Ogden Raptors (rookie) as well as Utah Valley all have that awesome backdrop, the Wasatch Mountains. Beautiful place to watch a game.

Nice ... and Chair back seats in the Outfield
Alex Box needs those .. LSU burns me up when they go cheap when they don't have too.

Orem Owls....Im pretty sure thats the team Jared Foster is on.
His MLB.com web page says he's currently with the Burlington Bees, a Class A affiliate of the L.A. Angels in the Midwest League.

Good perspective, but I watched a pretty good UCI team absolutely melt in the old Box in 2008. Momentum, crowd noise, etc. plays a factor in an athletes performance.

Damn. Put UCLA's field to shame. I don't think they will, but the heat will have an effect on them.

Wow I'd go to all the games there.
Yea, that's some good scenery.
I'd go to all of the volleyball games as well.
And the soccer games..

Last weekend I flew a Cessna 172 just to the left of that leftmost mountain. It's the Provo Canyon. I'd post a picture, but I can't figure out how to post one that's not on the internet.
In fact, I didn't realize it at the time, but I circled that campus about four times shooting instrument approaches at the Provo airport.

Ah, home sweet home. I grew up in the shadow of the Wasatch mountains. It's a great view all up and down the Salt Lake and Utah valleys.

Looks like a nice place. Beautiful scenery in the outfield. Probably not very loud
