If you looks at the year Wade was fired and the class he had coming there is every possibility he was poised to take the next step to elite 8 and further. And FWIW I have a friend that’s a big booster who had lunch recently with a friend of his in Raleigh, NC that is a friend of WW and he said Wade does not like it at NCST. Supposedly they haven’t been doing what they said they would do if he came. And he and his wife loved it here. So never say never.

So Wade wasn't enjoying some advantage over other schools. He was simply doing what THEY ALL DO in order to compete.
You ackin like he was here for more than 5 years.
He did very well at LSU. Won the SEC in year 2.
He also made the tournament every year after his first.
Has a top 10 winning percentage among active coaches.
What in the HELL do you mean find someone with a better record than the current coach??? The SOB is 14-44 in SEC play. Wade was 55-33. Slightly better than our current coach, don't ya think???

This doesn't matter anymore. It's a totally irrelevant talking point. The "cheating" was paying players....which is now both "legal" and necessary.

I'm fully aware NIL is nothing more than pay for play, and I think Wade is right in his element for today's college basketball.

True in some cases, but in this one, seems to fit the bill as is typical for this board. Pretty sure you know that in almost every instance on this board, this widely used phrase is used incorrectly by those trying to emphasize their point.
