I think that understandable. MO Crowton's gone after this season. What no fingers crossed emoticon.

Miles has a Bachelors in Economics, not a Masters.

It's obvious he didn't get one in English or Communications.

I don't really have a theory; I think the want to make the move was there, but something happened that didn't allow the want to come to fruition.

No, he isn't.

Right, because you are a coach and know?

I'm not really sure what that entails, but sure.

I don't think anybody is going to fly to Baton Rouge to pick his brain on offense, seeing as how he's not an innovator, but I don't think that makes him any more or less qualified to be a head coach.

I think fellow coaches respect his ability to field a good team that plays hard.

last year i knew nothing was going to happen on the Crowton situation...i gave belowpar a really hard time for coming on here and starting shite..but this year i cant say that...just because i dont have a clue..if i did...id let you guys in on it...im not tied to any coach..i love LSU..and whoever the coaches are ill support them, wish them well and the most success possible and i WILL NOT COME ON HERE AND BASH OUR COACHES OR PLAYERS...

btw..both Miles and Crowton are very well respected in most coaching circles...

Interesting.

I give him the benefit of the doubt because I know Chicken doesn't tolerate rumor-mongering and he vetted BelowPar when he first came out with the Miles staying stuff... so it's not out of the question that you and he are hearing different things I guess...

Fact: Miles went to bat for Crowton and has to live with it now. However, key silient boosters will not allow their money spent on an LSU offense that doesn't rank in the top 100 for a second year in a row not to mention losing key recruits as a result...smoke and mirrors the rest of the season; but Crowton is gone...

yup...

Miles also believed that the problems with the offense didnt lie with Crowton or Stud...

the idea of changing both coordinators w/in two years showed to much instability.

im still not convinced that a change is coming this year, im not saying that i dont think it needs to, im just not convinced that CLM is going to let Crowton go. He may leave on his own to go somewhere else. the perception among coaches is that CLM is on borrowed time.that he has lost the fan base, which most consider us idiots, and the concern is that a "quality" offensive coordinator may not want to make the move for what could be a year or to stop..

I'm not taking up for either because it is more of a recruiting debacle at QB than anything, but if Crowton truly had a game changing dual threat at QB instead of two guys lacking many desired traits in a major program QB then his play calling/production would be significantly better. What can he really do to improve the JJ/JL scenario to improve the current offense? For that reason alone I would question why I new OC would want to enter the shitpot known as LSU's offense, much less if LSU loses another 3-games. shite, at this point the Ole Miss game is far from the gimme W many on this board seem this think it is.

Our OC has not adapted to our current talent. We have pro-style talent and we run our silly version of the spread offense. Houston Nutt changes is offense to suit is talent as late as August...we don't seem to be capable of doing this in two years...Crowton leave however you want, but leave...Les get someone else that can adapt and make significant adjustments and get out of the way!!

money, when it comes to Miles or ANY OTHER coach, is not an issue for LSU !

the money is there for any buyout necessary..
