SFP, you are comparing apples to oranges...
UF actually has the athletes to maintain this level of performance.
AU and MSU do NOT have the players to consistently play like they did vs. LSU. We all knew the D could have played better against them -- a few busted coverages = bad stats.

We have new dcs and almost our entire d are first year starters...Did you expect last years defense? SFP, you are really a pussy. You are over reacting to LSU having a year that will probably be better than Florida's last year. I would enjoy that pattern...Win a national championship one year, a top contender for the SEC the next, then contend for the national championship again the next year... Yea, I will be happy with those results.

if they averaged that every game this year they'd be top 10
they won't face a D as bad as LSU often the rest of the year, and they're almost in the 40s

Last night's play and planning after a week off following how Miss State moved the ball on us was very disappointing.

"This is something we certainly have to look at very closely," Miles said when asked about possible defensive changes. "Certainly, they took advantage of us in one-on-one coverage. We'll certainly look at it. If not personnel, the maybe it's call."

let the DL rush upfield to disrupt plays
blitz more, and blitz creatively
play press coverage
bench mccray. he's about useless at this point
basically, make offenses react to our D, and not the other way around. people will argue we may give up big plays, but we're playing soft pussy shite and we're giving up big plays. at least if we pressure, we'll get some negative plays
