I’ve seen Leavitt perform poorly as well…… so there’s that.

Again, I understand your concern, but the staff loves him and what they could do with him.

He has a lot of talent. Put him in their system with better talent and see how he does.

Correct. Especially more recently no? He was great before the injury. Maybe he will be great again after.

45% 1 td with 2 ints against miss st? 25 yards rush, 0 tds.

is this the game he got hurt?

someone brought up Williams getting sacked a lot in his last two games, but Leavitt was sacked 11 times in his last 3 games.

also in Leavitt's last two games he only put up 1 td in each of them with 0 rushing tds and no real rushing game to talk about.

playing hurt right? at least Williams is healthy.

watch Joe Deleone speak about Williams here and he is not an LSU homer.

Leavitt had 80 yards passing and 2 ints against MS State this past year. That was also pre-injury. I’d be extremely happy with either one but acting like there is some major drop off from Leavitt to Williams is just dumb.

And yet Washington dumped a truck full of money to try and keep him

Both seem like great options, but I think I am leaning towards what Williams could be under Lane a little more. Especially being healthy and he seems like he can fly.

What does Lane Kiffin know about developing QBs? Certainly not as much as Tiger fan99. You are the expert. Lane just took Chambliss(a D2 player) and made him a stud QB.

You have no idea what you will get from Lisfranc Sam Leavitt. He could possibly not be ready for next year.

It's not an ok losing Leavitt thing. Leavitt is choosing to take the Tennessee visit and probably a Miami visit.

Kiffin and Weis have been high on Williams for a couple years and if Leavitt isn't ready to sign and wants to keep looking then so will LSU.

It is what it is and this is business. LSU can't afford to wait around on Leavitt just like they couldn't afford to wait on Chambliss's appeal.

You should look at Leavitt's stats vs Mississippi State.
