Exactly. Wearing the wrong uniform should always be factored in to the outcome of a game. Same is in football during the "purple poison" (Archer/ Hallman) era.

The black uniforms for a home game were not on brand for LSU. But I did like the t-shirts they gave away to the crowd.

LSU’s default from all white should be to gold, Default from gold should be purple - rarely.
