Absolutely not. I'm not suggesting that anything would transform him into a good coach. But we are paying our women's coach MORE to coach a team that loses about $10 million a year than we are paying our men's coach. It's absurd. I'm simply trying to illustrate the point that LSU's athletic department never has and never will care about men's basketball. Give me a historic example that disproves that point.

That's what we have right now, minus the nice gym. Because there is no support for men's basketball. Why would Wade want to walk back into that situation?

You must have me confused with another poster. I don't really care if he comes back or not. I'm not a fan of his, because I honestly don't think he is that good of an on the court coach. The advantage he had was the talent we got for him paying players to come before it was legal. Yes, I know most did it, but it is a lot more level playing field now and you actually need a strong bench coach, imo. That said, he is better than what we appear to have right not for sure. I am not a MM guy....but it is ashame we lost Reed and then DJ...basically our two most important players.

Well let me break this to you.... the CONTRIBUTORS to that 2019 team weren't caught cheating and OH BY THE WAY, IDGAF if the players are paid your moron.... IT'S ABOUT THE HEAD COACH. The ironic thing is that Wade is the source of incredible amount of division among the LSU fan base.
Winning cures everything but Wade would face enormous pressure to win and not just tourney appearances. Folks would expect Elite 8 appearances. The SEC is much stronger or balanced since Wade’s last year. Football will continue to get the lions share proportionally in NIL, resources. Hell, the PMAC is a shite hole and nothing will fix that soon.
Regardless, Wade is not returning unless he hates NC State. It’s a historically better program,
