Damn, now we're determining our chances of beating Alabama based upon their departures and not upon our talent level. Getting shaky around here.

You must be joking. We will still have Harris at QB. All they have to do is shut down our running game and they know Les has no plan B. Even if they are half as good next year we only get like 60 yards rushing.

No way Alabama has a better defense next year compared to this year. You guys are losing 7 starters. Both your backup defensive ends. Basically all your starting LB with a big dropoff behind the starters.
You guys should be ok in the secondary, but unless frazier and Payne step up, which is a big IF, there will be a sieve up front.

Are we seriously already looking at playing Alabama again next year? And thinking we can win because of the same stupid reason we thought we could win this year? And last year? Jesus tapdancing Christ, what is wrong with you people?

They lost their WRs in Cooper and White. Lost 2 OL in Koundjiao and Shepard. Replaced Sims as QB. Yeldon and Vogler were starters in name only.
so 4 out of 11 on offense.
On defense, they lost 2 safeties (collins and Perry), and trey depriest and Xzavier Dickson at LB. Their offense will be ok if they can get Bateman or Barnett to step up, but they are losing 7 starters and 4 key backups on defense. Their defense will not be great next year.

Nope. Bama is faced with the same early depRtures as us but somehow they manage.
And they've had two straight years with iffy QB issues going into the season, but Kiffin gets it done.
Just gives to show what good coaching can do.
