We will see both because whoever starts is going to struggle.

He’s 18, and it was his 2nd game. These are the things to learn from. He should be better for it going forward. Let’s see if he is.
There was a reason he beat out Max in fall camp, and I’m sure it will be the reason he beats him out again to start next Saturday.

Yeah, but Max was playing his first game that same day. He threw as many passes, completed two more, had more yards, a TD, a 2-pt conversion, no picks, and no fumbles. And he played when LSU was one dimensional.
ETA: and more rushing yards.

Start Finley with a quick hook.

Max was playing in garbage time. They'll probably both play and both will get slaughtered so I don't know why anybody's worrying about it.

Max was far more poised against a real SEC defense....
TJ looked like a magic man against a defense that Mond is carving up.

And all with no pressure as the game was already a blowout. And I’m sure Steele was playing a much more conservative defense by then.
I know it’s easy to do, but I’m gonna do my best not to get sucked into the absolute choosing of sides between 2 QBs. It always gets ugly, and I’m starting to see signs that that’s not far off.

Exactly. See “Joe Burrow”.

Orgeron said it could be either one...they will decide by WEDNESDAY. I have no feel for either one. TJ looked lost at Auburn. As would most freshman. Bama is going to be an immense challenge for either one.

You guys have no idea what you are looking at with Finley or Johnson.
