some of them are EXTREMELY rude...there was a third down for their offense and i was standing up and yelling. the previous play they told me to sit down, but i just ignored them (they have legs, they can stand..its SEC football, its what us fans do on key downs) but on the 3rd down play right before the snap a washington fan threw ice at me and my brother. i turned around and said, really? youre acting like a little kid.
then when the play where landry dropped the bubble screen, or whatever play it was, and they review was upheld, a washington fan threw some beads they hit a woman in the back of the head with the beads. i was very dissapointed..
for the tl;dr, most of their fans are aspiring baseball players that used our fans as targets.
ETA: i was in the east upper deck right beside all their fans for those wondering. anyone else up there?

I talked to some before the game just after the band came down the hill. They said that there is nothing else like this. One even said he loved it.

We just thanked them all for Pearl Jam and advised them they should put on some sunscreen.

I seriously doubt that a lone Washington fan threw ice at you and your brother.
All the UW folks I talked to today were great fans and were welcomed accordingly. They were knowledgable fans who came here knowing they would be going home with a loss. They came down for the experience.

I seriously can tell you that he did. As soon as I turned around he was yelling at me. Maybe I just got the one bad fan they have. But that's what happened..

I was in that section and had no problems at all. Not saying it didn't happen to you, but had no issues with any of their fans in that area. Met and talked with many of their fans pre-game and all of them were really cool and really impressed with our stadium, and we're really good sports about being Tiger-baited. And more than a few stated we have some of the hottest women they have ever seen..

Ya, the rest of their fans were cool and pretty funny...I guess he was just the fan that every fanbase has to have.

From all the ones I met, pretty cool. They all seemed to enjoy the experience

Didn't mean to call BS on you, man. I'm sorry that somebody threw ice at you guys...

To me, that's what it's about; enjoying the experience. I do my best to extend our hospitality to visiting fans. I've never had a visiting fan talk shite after eating a plate full of Louisiana cooking and a few beers, and likewise, we don't give them a hard time either. (aside from some good-hearted bragging about our Tigers)
I like having a good time at away games, and I find the best way to ensure that is by showing good ole southern hospitality to whoever comes down to Tiger Country. Respect given is respect earned...

Saw a few out at some bars downtown after the game. good people, readily admitted that we spanked them and said they were having a blast out in BR.

The UW fans were great. They travelled very well...but still not as many as Tigers went to Seattle. I had 3 couples with us and all were blown away by everything...food, tailgating, stadium...heat! And the ones I talked to sitting around us were great. One of the best things...other than some tigerbaiting, which they all expected, all Tigers treated them right!
GREAT day and game!

I enjoyed talking with several Washington fans in my section. Good folks. One problem with them was that they insisted the cool breeze was a hot wind.

Some of the nicest fans from oot I've met. Which is hard to do when your being totally dominated the entire game. Sure wish we would have gotten that TE Jenkins though. NHL wasvdef theyre best player. M
