It took a blocked punt / safety and two INTs to even be close in the first half.

The other way to look at it is we were only up 4 despite those things. We only got 5 points from those plays. Had we gotten 16, then we would have been up another 11.

Maybe A&M would have tightened up. Instead, they came out played a clean half, took the lead and made it hurt.

Kelly channeled his ND days and gave his best Knute Rockne speech.

The old LSU strength and Conditioning Coach, now at A&M, had the Aggies in condition to play an entire game.
Kelly's S&C Coach, didn't have us ready. Same as our OL, and other Kelly hires.

Gay&M made halftime adjustments, too. Theirs worked. Ours didn't. When you hear about BK's face on tackling dummies and the Elko fallout, it is not hard to see that they had an axe to grind.

Coaching, maybe conditioning by the players.

They played tough the first half, caused enough havoc and pressure for the Aggies to make some mistakes. Crowd was pretty into it as well.

Kelly probably made some attempt to fire up the team, but it just came off as the usual “you guys are the problem… not me” excuse and a coulple kids making millions already, said, frick this guy… they the team suffered and others threw in the towel, and it’s a snowball. Worst coached team I generations. frick that guy. Hope he loses money on that ugly soulless house on the lake.

That’s why they fired him before the bama game. If he would have beaten bama then it would hard to fire him.

Also with at least two other top schools in the hunt for a HC it was smart to get in the mix before decisions had been made there.

See Berry only getting one second half touch.
And now HB's position coach is the Interim Head Coach and the Interim RB Coach is the brother/cousin ( ) of the Co-OC/PGC.......

We simply were lucky in the first half. We're lucky both halves weren't the same.

Exactly. I told my buddy at halftime, it feels like the wheels are fixing to come off.

They were playing pretty well. Nuss was moving the ball for the most part. Defense was holding up.

Then boom!

A&M realized that they only had to defend the WR screen pass and running up the middle. They the Defense was stuck out their too long after numerous three and outs.

Once they were tired they were done.

First play from Van Buren was over the middle for 20. he marched down the field and scored on 10 plays I believe. Threw off the A&M defense for a key penalty too.

I know people love Nuss, but he is terrible and did not prepare for this season. Easy to defend, can't run, can't throw long, weak and terrible body language.

The game really was never in doubt. You could see that from their first drive

Coaches making adjustments.

Or not depending on the side you're on.
