so the Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, Clemson, and Florida games just didn't matter? because he logged meaningful snaps in each of those games.

Vincent was our primary 3 Nickel, especially in those big games.

Vincent was the most undeservedly vilified player in years. He wasn't Stingley or Fulton but he made a lot of good plays the past 2 years

vincent had a really rough start to the season last year, but by the end was out there making big plays for us. we could have really used him this year

Also made some great plays on blitzes from the safety position. He would be a huge upgrade at safety right now

A number of players have not been what we thought of as “reload” types. Quite a few are placeholders or rebuild types and not been up to the task. We need them to be serviceable and hang on till the young guns develop or new ones come in.

He also wasn't put in situations that mattered.

Df are you talking about, he covered Jeudy and Waddle last year while Stingley was matched up with Smith. Where do you guys come from. Flott was fricking killing it last season. I truly believe he’s playing hurt.

This is the most rant response ever.

Erg player bad. No play.

Well who would you play instead of him? Who else is there or better?

Have you watched our DB's during a game. Except for 24, they all start a play flat footed looking at the QB. That allows receivers to have a running start & fly by them. But you gotta admit that we do look good chasing guys down. When O said we were a fast defense, I had no idea he meant that we could catch up with open guys so well!

People have been saying that they expected so much from Flott, but I just never seen it from last year. Seemed like every time he came in last year, he was picked on a bit. I'm not saying he won't be a good corner and get better, but I just never seen the hype of people claiming he will be the next great corner at LSU. Thats just my opinion though.

I didn’t see near the flash that everyone tried to hype

Watch this play last year against Ruggs LINK

That's a perfect play against a 1st round WR with 4.27 speed. He has regressed this year but to say he didn't flash last year would be flat out wrong.

Defensive front pressure makes DB's shine

when QBs have time to let their WRs work and get open, DBs will get exposed
