Yes, what an idiot! His parents are idiots, and he's an idiot. All 3 should be whipped with canes like they do over in Sweden.

He is still high from the 2006 Final Four weed before the UCLA game.

Does he do time over this latest thing?

In the words of Nancy Reagan; “Just say no”...

I'm honestly surprised his bond wasn't revoked from his first set of charges. Being charged with another felony while out on bond is definitely grounds for a revocation.

I'm still thinking he's going to do time for that 1st offense. I believe I read it was a very large amount of marijuana they found in his possession.

Yes, about as uncivilized as can be!

well, not really...they only found about a quarter-pound of weed, which isn't a huge amount at all - ordinarily not that difficult to get reduced to "simple possesion - IF it wasn't for the $92,000 also found in the room.

I sat next to the players family section back then and got to know his mother Tonia. She had a tough life, no doubt made some mistakes of her own. She did love her kids and was appreciative that Collis took Baby in during high school. She never understood that college basketball was a big step up and her antics in high school should be toned down.
I first met her after an early season tournament LSU hosted and she was mad Baby was not named to the all tournament team and Brandon Bass was. She thought LSU had shafted him and he should have gone to Kentucky. I waa able to explain to her how older playes sometimes got more deference and Baby would have his chance to make his mark. She trusted us after that and became a little more understanding of the process. Of course she still bellowed her signature BIG BAAAABBBBYYY when Glen made a big basket.
When Baby got knocked woozy in a game against Alabama she was trying to get on the court and they wouldn't let her and she was about to make a scene. I was able to calm her and get her to walk outside to prevent an incident. She told me a lot of her personal background that day and how she knew she had some personal issues but she wanted to be a good mother and was trying her best. Sometimes its hard for some people to overcome their past and the environment they grow up in. Suddenly being in a college setting can be like a foreign world to them.
Baby was given opportunities and had a lot of good things happened his way and now seems to be on his own downward spiral. Hopefully he can reverse it and become a productive person.
