Bama 12 when COpeland took that long swing pass down the sideline and then the following time out.
Bama 08 for the blocked fg)

USC ‘79 so loud you couldn’t hear the person next to you without yelling, the whole freaking game.

Since 05, the blocked FG against Bama and announcing the USC score for UF 2007 are the 2 single loudest moments for me. Sustained would be 07 UF. For the blocked FG, I remember everyone was headed to the exits and people were sprinting back to their seats.

Very tough to answer for 38+ seasons but I have to go with Earthquake touchdown. If you were there or ever watched the replay, it was the intensity of that entire game that built up and caused the earthquake at the end
It was two very good to great defenses controlling the game and everyone knew that any one play could be the difference. The 88 season was also expected to be a great one and it had to start with a win over Auburn.
1997 Florida was the most sustained noise that I have experienced. It started out as “we have to be loud to have a chance against a great team” and turned into “they really can beat the number 1 team” then “they will beat the number 1 team that beat them 56-3 just 4 years ago”

I saw the thread title and was going to post this moment. I had sold my student ticket to a guy for like 400 bucks then bought another for 300 right before the game.
There was also that moment when Byrd game down with the ball with a few seconds left in 2007.

I am very old school:
back before modern stadium expansion, 1971 vs Notre Dame, I had seats in the south endzone and no one around us sat during the entire game. The whole game was deafening.
The Sunday morning Advocate had a picture of Ara P the ND coach with his hands up is disbelief and the headline:
Noise? Noise? I can't hear anything!

No question USC 1979 for sustained noise.

It was the 97 Florida game for me I will never forget that game. I was drunk for 9:00am the culprit was that goldschlager shite. I remember that morning there were people sleeping in tents near the tailgate area. This chick runs out the tent topless through the parking lot and a dude jumps out the tent naked with a gorilla mask chasing her around the parking lot and back in the tent. That was my first tailgate experience and I still laugh at it. As for the game I developed a horrible migraine headache and every time LSU got a first down and the fans chanted go tigers. I had to bend my head over to relieve some of the pain. But I never left the game.

Certainly agree with the 2007 Florida game when they announced USC lost

Loudest sustained crowd noise was actually Florida 2009. I don't believe we scored a TD that came, so just never got to experience a full blown eruption from the crowd. I can remember just waiting for it to happen...for the stadium to just burst at the seams, and it never came. Very frustrating game. I remember and interview by Urban Meyer and him saying he couldn't believe how loud it was, and he took his headphones off at one point to experience it...or something like that
If I remember correctly, when urban retired from Florida and did some announcing for a lil bit, I think before a national championship game (2012 Notre dame bama?) he said the loudest place he ever was in was tiger stadium. He didn’t specify the game I don’t think but he said he looked down at his pants one time and they were vibrating from the noise.

1) LSU beats Ole Miss 17-16 on Jones to Davis TD pass last play! You would have had to have been there to believe the crowd reaction
2) Hodson-to-Fuller, 1988 vs Auburn.
3) Andre Lafleur's MISSED 50-yd FG vs Southern Miss, 1994. The tsunami of boos which ensued from the sparse crowd that night was DEAFENING.
